Embarking on a master planning endeavor in the Bavarian village of Leavenworth, WA, we confronted the challenge of revitalizing one of the last expanses of undeveloped commercial land — an overlooked canvas brimming with potential.
Surrounded by a bustling community and robust infrastructure, this venture sought to unveil a previously unexplored facet of town, tailored for smaller businesses, fostering a ground-up reimagining of the quintessential European village experience.
The vision embraced a walkable haven, free from the intrusion of cars, crafted for an unparalleled experiential panorama. Amidst the majestic vistas, we discern fresh opportunities beckoning to people, inviting them to immerse themselves in a redefined urban landscape. The objective is twofold: to harness the synergy of existing businesses in the vicinity and curate a distinctive encounter for the other side of town — an artistic synthesis of vision, commerce, and communal vitality.
