“Syndicate Smith is the winner in YMC’s 2025 Design Awards Small Modern Cottages category.
This category celebrates new modern cottages that are small and efficient, but still accommodate a very comfortable, modern lifestyle. Cottages in this category were capped at 1,600 square feet.
Icicle House 03, tucked into a forested hillside near Leavenworth, WA, is just that—a 1,077 square feet, compact, vertical retreat that rises through the trees with quiet confidence.”
