A second home for a westside family, serving as a hunting and fishing basecamp. Nestled in a bison range with expansive views of the Wenatchee Mountains, it strategically addresses exposure by adopting a horseshoe shape, crafting a wind-protected courtyard. Integrated living space with kitchen, dining, and living areas, enhanced by expansive folding doors connecting to the outdoors.

The design pays homage to local agrarian architecture, featuring gabled roofs and glulam trusses. Utilizing board-formed concrete pillars and Nakamoto Forestry wood, the exterior blends with the landscape in a warm, natural palette.
