In the Methow Valley the shed roof has been the call of new Modernism in the last 20 years. This couple wanted to buck the trend in order to define forms and compositions citing the past, and referencing travels, all the while embracing the harshness of exposure, the vastness of views, and the essentiality of being with friends and family.
